The mission of the public relations department is to promote all aspects of Five Star Ind. Inc. in a positive and informative manner.

Fund Raising

The mission of the Fund Raising Department is to develop annual fund raising events and attain other sources of funding to provide the highest quality of service for the individuals we serve.

Current Fund Raisers:

• "Recipes From the Heart" cook book. This 63 page recipe book is filled with 158 recipes for any occasion, such as; party foods, quick main dishes, scrumptious desserts, and many more. The recipes were compiled by the staff and families of Five Star Ind. They would make a great addition to your cook book library or as a great gift. Cost is $5.00 per copy. (Shipping is $3.00)
• Buddy Bass Tournament - The annual spring fishing tournament benefits our "Wishing Well" fund that has been established to assist individuals with developmental disabilities on very fixed incomes purchase emergency need items; such as coats for winter, medications/medical supplies not covered by prescription drug plans, etc. The fishing tournament has limited space and has HUGE cash prizes.
